What’s shaking (wagging rather) around the Winery…
Hi all! Max here. Just wanted to update you on some goings on this week as Rubie takes a nap. First off, the weather’s unbelievable. May weather in March! I’m hoping it stays like this through the weekend because then maybe Dad will move the bands outside Friday (John Dean & Friends) and Sunday (Cayuga Blue Notes) night. And between you and me, I like the bands outside better. Quite frankly, we score better snacks. People are a little looser with their food and more hits the ground. We love that!
We know some of you had started following us on Twitter at @MaxnRubie, but we’ve run into a bit of a snag. Twitter has suspended our account without telling us why. We’re trying to get it resolved, so bear with us. In the meantime you can hang out with us here. Or at the Winery & Cafe. Which truthfully we prefer, because we can convince you to give us real snacks.
We had a visitor over the weekend. Dexter came to hang out and greet the folks with us. Cute kid. Really knew how to work the room. Helped us score big snacks. We’re hoping HE comes back again soon!

And finally, just wanted to let you know Say Cheese is coming in a few weeks. The weekend of March 24 & 25. Dad says we’re hosting Kenton’s Cheese Company. They make brie. Kenton himself came in the other day to talk to Butch and Chef Lindsay. He’s a nice guy and gave us a little nibble of his cheese, so he’s currently on our “We Love Him” list. Anyway, they put their heads together and came up with a fondue to serve for the event along with his cheese. Can’t begin to tell you excited Rubie and I are to get our choppers on some of that!
